Summary

As an Internal Communications Technical Designer in Apple’s Software Engineering (SWE) division, you will create Keynote presentations and other internal communications for the SWE Executive Team and senior leaders. This role involves translating complex technical content into clear, compelling visual stories with precision, communicating vision, priorities, and plans across the SWE organization, and building strong collaborative partnerships with executives and internal partners. Must Have

  • BA degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience
  • Keynote expert with 5+ years experience creating effective presentations and communication materials
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong visual design and typography skills
  • Demonstrated passion for the audience experience and leveraging design for communication goals
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and web platforms
  • Experience working with Marketing, Communications
  • Include resume and link to design portfolio, PDF, and Keynote presentations

In Apple’s Software Engineering (SWE) division, we work every day to create software that changes customers’ lives. As an Internal Communications Technical Designer, you’ll support the SWE Executive Team and other senior leaders by creating Keynote presentations for comms meetings, as well as other important internal communications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is adept at translating highly technical content into a clear and compelling story—with pixel-perfect precision. This is an opportunity to use visual design to communicate effectively about Apple’s software technologies, and to build strong collaborative partnerships with executives and other internal partners. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in helping communicate vision, priorities, and plans to team members across the SWE organization. Partnering closely with SWE leadership, an internal communications writer, and other team members in SWE, you’ll create Keynote presentations for organization-wide comms meetings, as well as other internal communications designed to inform and engage employees.

  • BA degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience
  • Keynote expert with 5+ years experience creating effective presentations and communication materials. Highly skilled with Keynote templates, formatting, transitions, and animation
  • Creative thinker, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with strong visual design and typography skills
  • A demonstrated passion for the audience experience, as well as knowledge of how to leverage design to achieve communication goals
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and web platforms
  • Experience working with Marketing, Communications

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
